A Baby Cactus!

Baby plants have always held a special place in my heart, and no matter how many I’ve seen, each one still fills me with the same excitement as if it were my very first encounter.

I was completely taken aback when I discovered a tiny, new addition on my cereus peruvianus. Just take a look at it; it’s absolutely adorable. I can hardly believe that it’s producing a baby, especially considering the somewhat neglectful care I’ve given this cactus over the summer. (Let’s just ignore some of the not-so-healthy sections on the plant, shall we? Ahaha.)

I must admit that I haven’t been the best caretaker, but I’ve been keeping a watchful eye on this new arrival. However, I’m well aware that this baby plant came into existence without much help from me, and it’ll probably do just fine on its own as long as I water the cactus when it truly needs it. Ahaha, sometimes less is more!

I can’t contain my excitement as I anticipate the growth of this baby over the winter months. It seems like just a tiny bump a few weeks ago, and now, it’s flourishing. The world of plants never ceases to amaze me; they’re a constant source of joy and wonder!
