Visiting Michigan

I traveled to Michigan to spend time with my family and experienced my first time flying with a plant cutting. I placed the cutting in a partially zipped ziplock bag, allowing its leaves to stick out slightly, and then packed it in my backpack before departing. Surprisingly, I encountered no issues during the journey.

Passing through security was smooth, and the cutting arrived with only minor leaf damage. Once through security, I completely forgot about it until I remembered at 11pm that night while lying in bed.

During my visit, I’ve enjoyed observing numerous hummingbirds on my parents’ porch. At the moment, four hummers are competing around the feeders. Although it’s August and not a lot in bloom now, I captured a few pictures of charming blooms.

Returning here made me realize my personal growth and the contentment I feel about my life. I’m truly pleased with the person I’ve become.
