Hey there! I recently got my hands on another scindapsus variety that was on my wish list, and I’m excited to combine it with my exotica. It’s been sitting alone for a while, and I can’t stop picturing what it would look like combined with my exotica.
The argyraeus has these delicate leaves that are adorable against the silver and larger leaves of the exotica. I’ve really been enjoying all my scindapsus varieties lately.
During a recent trip to the Desert Botanical Garden with my family, I finally found the argyraeus on display in the gift shop. I quickly grabbed it and held onto it tightly, not wanting anyone to take it away from me.
I had a hard time deciding between a terracotta pot and a white ceramic pot with a dog design on it. Ultimately, I chose the terracotta pot because the greenery really stands out in it. My husband agreed with my choice, and I love him for that.
Since the exotica has been with me for a while now, I knew it would have good roots. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the argyraeus was just as established. I have some room to add exotica props to the pot later this month or early June.
Right now, the combination doesn’t look great, but I’m confident that they will pair well in the long run. Once they grow big and lush, they will be spectacular. I wouldn’t mind having a house full of scindapsus, but for now, I’m more than happy with just the two I have.
