I made a Christmas list for my husband and vice versa so we can get what we want exactly. It stemmed from early on in our relationship we were very competitive in gift giving, trying to outdo each holiday and birthday that within 2 years we burned out and were traumatized that we mutually agreed to no gifts for Valentine’s Day, and the Christmas list tradition in our little family began. In addition we bought a Christmas palm tree this year for the living room, and the fake pine Christmas tree was moved into the office. I didn’t think I’d like it but it’s definitely grown on me ahaha.

This year on my list it’s mainly plant related except for like 3-4 things ahaha. Planters, gift cards for plant related businesses, macrame and crochet to make plant pot covers or spice up plant stands, and a tephrocactus geometricus. This morning my husband said a Christmas gift for me arrived early and I’d have to open it today and I knew it was the tephrocactus! Oh my gosh I love it. Love it love love it.

I’m excited to see what I get but I’m honestly excited to spend time with my husband and FaceTime family. I probably won’t post another blog until January 14th, but if I feel motivated I might.
