Changing How I Buy Plants

I’ve mentioned Arizona too many times already but right now it’s sort of on my mind. I thought since it’ll be a new state, new apartment, why don’t I change how I shop for plants?

In person shopping at nurseries and little shops!
I only buy online ‘cause it helps curve my impulse buying. The impulse buys I bought in April are good additions but aren’t my favorite plants, especially the pothos….we still don’t click well.
😐 The Hoya has put out one new leave and I’m sure the move isn’t going to help it out, ahaha.

It’ll also depend on how Covid-19 plays out moving into the fall; I’ll be keeping my expeditions to a minimum anyways, but if it upticks I’m not risking it, ahaha. It’s not worth more plants.

One of the reasons I want to go in person is because I want to make a friend and see if the local shops have workshops to meet folks who are interested in plants or even if they’re not. We gotta have something in common! Hopefully….

I found one shop that does some workshops albeit not exactly what I want to do, but I bookmarked them for later when I’ve settled into Phoenix.

If I can’t find the 3-4 varieties of plants (currently settled on 4 at the moment) I’m looking for in person I’ll just buy them online. I’m not gonna wait a year for it to show up in a store, ahaha.
