The last month it’s been planning for the Arizona move and now we’re starting to gain traction on obtaining boxes, selling furniture we don’t need, and donating the littler stuff.
I have been window shopping for storage solutions and some decor I didn’t get in my current apartment, including new plants, but to be honest I’m just enjoying the idea of figuring out what pots they would go in and where they will reside in the new apartment instead of obtaining the plant.
It’s probably because I’m in the moving mindset and I don’t want to add to what I already own but I’m happy with my collection now. It’s boring for most people I think and very hands off, but I don’t have to think about them too hard. And I like that.
What I’m more interested in getting is plant accessories like plant stands or hanging planters instead of putting plants on the floor or windowsill. I’ve been trying to measure the new apartment from pictures and just guessing but obviously I’m not getting anything until I’m there….
I’d like to get a plant tension pole for the living room but I will probably utilize the bookcase for the smaller plants IF the bookcase fits on the same wall with the loveseat. We’ll see how it goes.
I do know I’ll be getting an airplant hanging frame for my little guys who are thriving! Ive been wanting one for a few months now but knew it wasn’t wise to put a hole in the wall when we’d be leaving shortly.
I’m moving to Arizona for a year. How crazy is that?! I don’t have plans to get a ton of cacti but I do plan on moving some plants out to the balcony for a while before “winter” shows up in Arizona unless it doesn’t get below a certain degree for the avocado plant and yucca.
My wishlist plants have grown and I’m not sure which ones I really want to get in 2023 so I’ll probably share all of them and put a limit on how many I buy in that year for myself, ahaha.
Packing and unpacking is gonna be annoying but I’m excited for the new place with my best friend, Mr. Wolf, and seeing what Arizona has to offer.
