New Adventure

Oh boy.

While we had some friends fly in from Idaho we got the news from an apartment that we were accepted! We officially had an apartment in Phoenix.

I didn’t even have time to even think about it then and even now I still can’t believe it. I keep reading the email thinking it’s fake.

I had my final for ASL 1 exam (which I passed woot woot!) and then right after became sick with COVID-19. I was totally bummed about it. My husband and I made it 2.5 years before getting it and it wasn’t too bad but I did take a couple days off work.

Anyways, I am debating downsizing some of my plants but most of them I really enjoy and I can’t see myself getting rid them, but it would save me some space across for other things, or cooler plants when I get to Arizona. I’m hoping to move my avocado plant, yucca, and dracaena out on the balcony which would free up space in the office and living room for the other plants that have been shoved together.

I have some props going from my peperomias that I want to give to my little sister before I leave for Arizona. A couple of them are pushing out new leaves so fingers cross they have a growth spurt in the next couple of weeks.

I’m a little sad to be leaving Michigan but I’m also excited to be going to a new place and exploring it. Plus the cacti. The cacti is a big bonus. So the packing begins shortly in my small household.
