At My Limit

I crossed off some plants on my wishlist as I didn’t want to get them this year and then almost turnaround the same week to order 3 trailing plants. I actually ordered them the following week but basically right there in my mind, ahaha.

I had begun crossing out the cacti on my wishlist earlier this year but finally did it this month and started looking at plants to take their place.

I came across two varieties of epiphrenum and a Hoya carnosa jade/green and really liked them all. I couldn’t figure out which one I liked the best to start out with so I ordered all 3 about a week later.

They arrived a few days after ordering them from a nursery in my state and while rearranging some plants so they could have a spot eventually after quarantining, I realized I was running out of spots to comfortably put them without making the rooms look cluttered to me. Some people would roll their eyes at me but it’s true. I have never been one to cram every space full of things and plants don’t get that space either.

It didn’t help right after I ordered the 3 plants that my mom bought me a money tree and then my husband ordered a basil plant from our grocery store saying it was cheaper than getting fresh, picked basil. It was funny he said he got me a plant but I was beginning to stress how many I had and thinking of repotting and pest maintenance. So I stressed and became flustered that I cleaned my entire apartment from floors to walls in all the rooms I have.

Not sure if anyone goes through the same thing but I’m not stressed anymore after getting used to the new plants and rearranging all of my plants that I feel better. Probably helped I also cleaned my entire apartment, ahaha.

I’m gonna be attending an ASL class for the next few months and after May it’s going to be busy for me until September that I don’t want to add more plants that will sit on the sidelines for a few months. Even if I wanted to add another plant I’ve reached my space and mental limits on plants, ahaha.
