Documenting Plant Progress (Is Also Documenting My Progress)

Sadly with most of my first house plants I didn’t take pictures when I first got them or I didn’t take quality photos but eventually I got smart and took photos when I unpacked a plant or within the first couple of days now so in a month or six months I can look back and see how much its grown!

My yucca and dracaena are two impulse buys that I don’t regret at all! They are both solid plants and easy for me to take care of. I bought them before April of this year and to see how far they’ve come already is insane. It’s so satisfying to see the changes and boosts my confidence concerning plants is definitely a bonus, ahaha.

I can’t wait to see what they look like next year. I’m hoping to take a cutting from the yucca when one of the stems is a little bit bigger so I have a tiered yucca. I really like how the dracaena is so small still that I would love it if it stayed that small for life. We’ll see how it goes or what I decide next year….
